One-Eyed Jack reminded me of a little hidden gem of a restaurant I went years ago in Shibuya. Although Bali is no Tokyo, we are so glad that this little piece of Japan has opened its doors in Canggu!
One-eyed Jack is a Japanese Izakaya and Sake Bar concept. Â With an ex-Nobu as a head chef, you can only expect great things about this new joint.
The interior is very modern Japanese. Dark walls with large gold paintings of carp and beautiful leather sofas frame the space. The left-hand side holds the cool long bar and kitchen. They have reserved their main decorative focus to be different shaped rattan lamps that illuminate the middle of the restaurant and evoke the fusion of old and new japan.
