Widodo & Sultan Tayeb of grundesign.studio, the architects behind this masterpiece, along with designer Joshua Criado, have masterfully orchestrated a symphony of textures and tones. The reclaimed wood dances with variations in colour and grain, each imperfection a testament to the wood’s past life. This meticulous attention to detail lends a warmth and authenticity to the space.
Sunlight streams in through strategically placed windows, illuminating the interior with a soft, natural glow. The clever use of light plays a crucial role in creating a sense of depth and dimension. The central tree is a statement piece, injecting a touch of elegance and history into the rustic setting.
The design of Woods extends beyond the physical space, seamlessly integrating with the culinary experience crafted by Executive Chef Arief Wicaksono and Head Chef Chandra Nur Rachman. The menu, much like the ambiance, is a harmonious blend – a celebration of global cuisine with a distinct Mediterranean influence, infused with the vibrant flavours of Indonesia.
