The Jungle Trader – The Shade Collection
It’s been a while since we last did a shoot with The Jungle Trader. Our shoots with them are always fast-paced and filled with creativity. And this one was no exception.
The location of this shoot was quite a dream in itself. The home of a Bali based architect gave us a great canvas to set some amazing scenes. The fact that they already had some very versatile and beautiful pieces of furniture made the shoot easier and even more gorgeous.
As happens quite often, I didn’t really know exactly what I was shooting until the day of the shoot. This time I realised that aside from the usual products that we shoot for The Jungle Trader, we would be shooting a lot of shades from the latest collection.
These shades are gorgeous and come in different shape and sizes. They have amazing colours like the baby pink and the sunny yellow but also they have pattern shades such a leaf motif and a leopard print (always a favorite of mine).
Tami worked her magic, creating all kinds of different scenes, from minimalist and austere to over the top filled with print and large shades. I was absolutely in love with every set. A stunning house with gorgeous decor and The Jungle Trader homewares, it couldn’t go wrong. A dream set with a dream team. Loved every minute of it!

Hi Shiela,
Can you share where the metal occasional chairs are from?
Hi Kara, Unfortunately, they were already in the villa we used so I am not sure where they are from. They are lovely though! Keep an eye out for our latest homewares guide which will be released very soon – it’ll have lots of insider tips on where to buy everything!
Hello Shiela !
May we know whats the name of this beautiful villa ?
Hi Ray, It certainly is beautiful, isn’t it! It’s a private villa so not available to the general public. We were very lucky to shoot in it!
Nice shade collection nice blog.
Thanks Joe!
