Nestled within the hotspot of Canggu, Bali, lies a masterpiece born from the creative minds of an amazing group of architects, interior designers, landscapers, lighting experts, and carpenters. The result of their collaborative efforts is the breathtaking Tegel House, one of the finest Bali private villas, a true reflection of the client’s vision and aesthetic preferences.
At the helm of this extraordinary project is Sam from The Lennon Project, who possessed a clear vision of how he wanted the villa to look and feel. Tegel House interior design draws inspiration from a blend of retro, eclectic, and 70s influences, with a touch of Bali’s rich heritage, evident in the use of ethnic artefacts and locally sourced materials for the furniture and furnishings.
The homeowner, Marcus, had a keen eye for aesthetics, and the architects skillfully allocated the base planning according to his preferences. With function being a primary consideration, the design expertly maximised space, ensuring that every aspect of daily living, from storage to entertaining, sleeping, and office space, was meticulously planned in this Bali best villa.

A defining characteristic of Tegel House is its refusal to conform to passing trends. Instead, the designers opted for a classic and timeless approach, resulting in a mood that feels cocooning, cool yet warm, and delightfully raw. The use of beautiful natural materials from Bali takes centre stage, with layered bricks, different stains and woods, and various finishings creating an earthy, relaxed, and refined ambiance throughout the home.

The selection of authentic, raw, and hard-to-find materials adds an exclusive and curated feel to the space, emphasising the artistic touch that permeates the entire villa. The architects and designers spared no effort in making even the smallest details stand out, invoking an artistry that leaves you in awe the moment you step inside Tegel House.
To create a sense of flow and continuity, the colour palette and mood setting were carefully orchestrated throughout the villa. Green and brick dominate the living and dining areas, while earth tones and amber take centre stage in the bedrooms, with blue serving as the dominant colour in the master bedroom. This careful curation ensures a seamless transition between spaces and provides a harmonious atmosphere throughout Tegel House, a true gem among Bali best villas.

Beyond the interior design, the landscape architect played a crucial role in shaping Tegel House’s enchanting outdoor spaces. Despite the challenge of a tight, narrow area bordered by high walls, they skillfully used tall, thin palms to allow natural light while maintaining a layered, architectural garden. The use of forest floor plants adds to the minimalist tropical feel, requiring minimal maintenance while maintaining the serene beauty of the surroundings.

The meticulous attention to detail and unrestricted budget allowed the designers and artisans to source a diverse range of elements, ranging from the most exquisite to the most humble. This freedom to explore and create brought the vision to life and added an unmatched level of uniqueness to the villa, distinguishing it among the top Bali private villas.
As the project neared completion, the interior designer focused on adding the final touches that truly brought the soul of the home to life. The collaborative spirit of the team, orchestrated by Marcus, created an environment where creativity thrived, resulting in a dream project for everyone involved in this.

While challenges inevitably arise in any project, gaining the client’s full trust proved to be the key to unlocking the magic of Tegel House, making it a preferred choice among villa in Canggu, Bali. Once that trust was established, the designers and artisans were free to let their creativity flourish, culminating in a masterpiece that will stand the test of time.
Tegel House is a testament to the artistry of design and a celebration of the beauty that can be achieved when a team of passionate individuals comes together with a shared vision, elevating it to be regarded among the finest villa in Canggu, Bali. With its seamless blend of Balinese heritage, eclectic retro influences, and timeless elegance, Tegel House stands proudly as a sanctuary of artistic expression and an enduring symbol of creativity.
