POKE POKE is a tiny Hawaiian eatery on Jalan Batu Bolong. If you don’t look carefully, you can easily miss it. But once you enter, you won’t forget it. This little pocket rocket is full of color and quirk. A smart choice was the high tables and stools, making the most out of the high ceiling and allowing more floor space.

The decorations vary from colorful Ukuleles to little Hawaiian dancers, pink flamingos, surfboards and lots of frame photos.
 One of the walls is covered in palm tree wallpaper that matches the bright teal frames of the stools and tables. And if there wasn’t enough going on, in the middle of this pea-sized joint there is a swing that dominates the main corridor.
