From the moment Milk & Madu opened its doors (metaphorically – as it has no doors!)
there was a buzz around it. Centrally located in Canggu, with enough parking for lots of scooters
and about 6 cars (hallelujah!) Milk & Madu has established itself as Canggu’s most well-known cafe.
Milk & Madu is constantly evolving. One of the latest additions is a large grassy area for kids to play in with a little teepee complete with toys for the wee ones to entertain themselves while Mum and Dad have a well-deserved break.
The outdoor furniture is composed of bench seats and large outdoor wooden picnic-style tables with large umbrellas to shield you from the sun. These tables can fit up to 8 to 10 people around each one, making them perfect for groups of friends to gather. The covered sitting area is also quite substantial but is made up of smaller tables, except for the enormous rectangular central table that sits 8 people very comfortably.
The interior main building is made of out of wood in the traditional Joglo style. High ceilings and exposed wooden beams add dimension and character, and the large pendant lights in the center of the room create a focal point and height.
