MANDALA HOME

Mandala home is the second property of the Mandala Group and is conveniently located next to the original Mandala House. Designed by Sisters 4 Corners and also creatively directed by James Brown, this slightly subtler house is jam-packed with beautiful surprises.

As the name suggests, Mandala Home really feels like a family house. A lovely 5-bedroom home with one of the bedrooms completely dedicated for kids. This is a great villa for very large families or even multiple families wanting to spend their time together in Bali.

The large living room is where most people would spend their time, reading magazines and just enjoying being on vacation. This area faces the garden which means that parents can be resting on the large and comfy sofas, keeping an eye on the kids while they play in the pool and garden.  The open-plan dining and living space is sophisticated but practical, and great for having large lunch & dinner gatherings.

The garden has a cover kitchen/bar with a breakfast table that overlooks the pool and the jungle views behind it.

But the best thing about this property is the bedrooms. Let’s start with the master bedroom, with its own private terrace and generous sizing and ample closet space. The master bathroom is stunning. The large bathtub is nearly in the center of the en-suite and would be heavenly to relax and unwind in. The whole bathroom is beautifully distributed and has plenty of natural light as well as privacy.

Another of my favourite parts of this house was the guest toilet. It’s pretty amazing! The first time I visited it I thought it was covered in a cool jungle wallpaper. My second time I realised it was actually hand painted! Just incredible!

Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 are in the garden/pool area. They are both absolutely breathtaking. The first one has its own private courtyard and is seriously gorgeous. And the second one is right next to the pool, and the pool almost surrounds it on the front and left side. The view from your bed is of the pool and jungle. This would be one of the favorite rooms to stay in.

In conclusion, this is an amazing villa which will probably have people rebooking it year after year for their annual family holiday. Its location, distribution and sizing combined with the Mandala service provide an unforgettable Bali vacation for the whole family.
