Southeast Asia’s most significant furniture and interior design trade event returns to Jakarta this September with a sharper focus, a broader network, and a programme built for the people actually specifying and building at scale.

There is a conversation happening inside Indonesia’s design and hospitality industry that rarely surfaces publicly: who is actually making the decisions about what goes into a hotel lobby, a serviced residence, an F&B space? It’s not always the brand or the developer. Often it’s the interior designer, the architect, the contract furnisher, the specifier who knows the material requirements, the certification standards, and the lead times that determine whether a project actually gets built the way it was conceived. IFFINA+ 2026 is one of the few events in the region that takes that reality seriously.
Running from 24 to 27 September 2026 at NICE, PIK 2, Jakarta, the 2026 edition of IFFINA+, powered by imm cologne, returns with a sharpened focus on custom and hospitality projects and an expanded programme of activations designed to connect the people who specify, source, and supply at project scale. Bali Interiors is proud to be the official media partner for this edition.

The Shift That Matters
The 2026 theme, Origin in Motion, signals something more than a design direction. It reflects a genuine repositioning of the show toward where the industry is actually moving: the hospitality and contract segment, where durability, certification, and customisation are non-negotiable rather than optional extras. Hotel lobbies, F&B spaces, serviced residences, commercial interiors. Projects where a beautiful product that can’t meet specification or scale are simply not viable.
This matters to our community in a direct way. The architects and interior designers in the BI network are increasingly working on hospitality and contract projects across Bali, Indonesia, and the wider region. IFFINA+ is where the sourcing conversation for those projects happens at a serious level, and this year’s edition is the most equipped version of that event to date.
The Scale
Last year’s edition drew more than 13,000 visitors from 34 countries and 219 exhibitors spanning furniture brands, design studios, interior consultants, associations, universities, and living communities. That is a genuinely substantial audience for a regional trade event, and it reflects the position IFFINA+ has built through its partnership with imm cologne, one of the world’s most influential furniture and interior design trade platforms.
This year’s exhibitor line-up includes Wisanka, Kayulama, CG Interior x Indofitting, Homeware International, Cellini, Latif Living, Every, Vivere Group, Alessio, Rifyo, and LUAR Living, among many more: a cross-section of Indonesia’s most credible furniture manufacturing and interior design names, with a growing cluster of hospitality-focused and project-ready brands built for large-scale contract work.
The Programme Worth Showing Up For
Beyond the show floor, IFFINA+ 2026 introduces an expanded programme that treats connection as seriously as commerce. IFFINA+ Talks brings designers, architects, curators, and industry voices onto a curated stage to discuss circular design, hospitality and contract trends, material innovation, and global-local collaboration. The Designer Lounge, which Bali Interiors will be hosting this year (yay!), is a curated space for direct, project-focused conversations between specifiers and exhibitors.
Business Matching structures sessions between exhibitors and buyers including hospitality procurement teams and project developers. The Hosted Buyers programme brings qualified international and regional decision-makers directly to exhibitor booths. The 100+ Designers Club is an invitation-only networking track connecting Indonesia’s design community with brands and industry leaders. And Youth+, a dedicated showcase for Indonesia’s emerging design and craft talents, adds a dimension of future-facing thinking that the best trade events always benefit from.
The Bigger Picture
IFFINA+ doesn’t sit in isolation this year. It forms the downstream anchor of IMMFC, the Indonesia Materials, Manufacturing & Furniture Connect, an integrated industry week that also includes interzum jakarta’s materials intelligence and the International Hardware Fair Indonesia’s hardware and tools ecosystem. Together they form one continuous value chain from raw material to finished, hospitality-ready product. For anyone working at project scale, the logic of attending all three in one week rather than separately is fairly compelling.
We’ll be on the ground across all four days. Follow along on our channels for coverage, conversations, and everything worth knowing from the show floor!
