If you’ve ever been to the iconic Bali beach club Potato Head, then the chances are that you have probably gone inside the CANAAN shop, which is part of the complex. But for most Bali ex-pats/locals, visiting Potato Head is not part of our daily route – contrary to how our friends from home think we live in Bali! However, if you are like me, and would like to visit CANAAN outside of Potato Head, we have some very good news!
CANAAN has opened their second Bali Store!!! This new store, which is located in Seminyak, is a little smaller than the original, but contains the same beautiful products and – added bonus – has a cute little café attached to it!

For those who have never heard of this iconic store, let me tell you a bit about it. CANAAN started three years ago with the goal of sourcing and selling unique artisanal Indonesian-made products. From beautiful ranges of ceramics and their own clothing line to hand-dyed fabrics, hand-made slippers, and hand-beaded bags. Yes – the emphasis is on the personal touch!

Everything has been carefully selected to create a curated lifestyle boutique. This particular store in Seminyak really reminds me of those gorgeous quaint little shops in the streets of Shimokitazawa and takes me back to shopping in Tokyo and finding those ones of a kind treasures.

I definitely found some treasures while shopping here! I ended up buying a stunning bowl and plate that they have made in collaboration with Gaya Ceramics, and a gorgeous linen jumpsuit that has already become my favorite. Yay!
If you’re in Seminyak, you need to visit!

Where did your sales counter come from?
Hi Tracey, unfortunately I don’t know! I’d suggest messaging Canaan directly
