Let’s take a peek in paradise with me as i go to Villa Olori, a true unique private Villa in Canggu owned by Chidi Ashley. This three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom Canggu villa is a masterpiece that seamlessly combines modern elegance with an ethnic twist. From the moment i step inside the villa’s main entrance, i am greeted by a world of opulence and cultural richness.
As i enter the villa, two magnificent gold gongs and a serene Buddha head sculpture catch my eye, setting the tone for what’s to come. The interior of Villa Olori is a harmonious blend of contemporary design with ethnic influences, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere that is both visually captivating and emotionally soothing.
One of the standout features of Villa Olori is its mesmerizing Santorini-white pool. This pristine oasis is not only a visual delight but also a perfect place to relax and unwind. The sunken outdoor living area next to it clearly meant to be for friends and family gathering spot. I can imagine sitting by the pool to see the sunset with a drink in my hand! For those who appreciate nature’s beauty, Villa Olori offers breathtaking views of lush rice fields. This Canggu villa‘s expansive windows and strategically designed outdoor spaces allow you to take in the scenic beauty of Bali.
The kitchen has abundance of storage space, making it look effortlessly neat. Maybe this is something i need to take note of, since i feel like my kitchen is always messy! The sleek, modern design of the kitchen is accentuated by dark cabinetry, providing a stark contrast to the neutral color palette that dominates the interior. This combination of dark and light creates a captivating visual appeal, and i love the petrified wood dining table.
Throughout this private villa in Canggu, the interior is dominated by dark colors with strategically placed pops of neutral tones that add depth and character. These contrasting elements create an inviting ambiance that shows sophistication. Additionally, African influences are subtly but prominently featured in the artworks displayed throughout the villa, celebrating the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the region. You might think modern and ethnic won’t mix, but Chidi definitely knows how to do it.
One cannot help but notice the abundance of mirrors thoughtfully placed throughout Villa Olori. These mirrors not only add an extra layer of depth to the interior but also reflect the natural light, creating a bright and open atmosphere. This design choice enhances the villa’s aesthetic appeal and contributes to the sense of spaciousness.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Villa Olori is the rooftop, features a stylish bar where you can enjoy your favorite cocktails while taking in panoramic views of the lush surroundings. Imagine having a get together with your friends and just chill in the rooftop. The highlight of this area is undoubtedly the three swing chairs inspired by the trendy Tulum style. My kids will love this for sure!
Villa Olori truly embodies the essence of luxury and comfort, with every detail carefully curated to provide an unforgettable experience. From the Santorini-inspired pool to the African-inspired artworks, and the rooftop area, the villa offers it all. Villa Olori is the ideal balance of modern elegance and cultural charm, creating an environment that encourages relaxation, introspection, and appreciation of the world’s diverse beauty. Chidi Ashley has created a sanctuary that is nothing short of extraordinary in the heart of Bali’s . Villa Olori is more than just a private villa in Canggu; it’s a luxurious, culturally enriched experience that will leave a lasting impression on all who are fortunate enough to stay.
