Giving Back
There are many organizations in Indonesia giving back to this beautiful island. Donating to charity as a way of giving a gift is my number one favorite gift!
There are many charitable groups in Bali working to help disadvantaged women and/or children, protecting wildlife and preserving habitats, as well as rehabilitating stray animals. Here is a shortlist of the many great organizations doing wonderful things in Bali.
Bali Mother and Baby House – Providing education to women and teens around sex education and temporary housing for newborn abandoned babies
Project Karma – Disaster relief projects, including communities affected by earthquakes
Bye Bye Plastic Bags – A young generation tackling the plastic bag issue
Eco Bali – Recycling and Education around recycling
